Established in 1948, D’Arrigo Brothers Company of New York specializes in selling quality fresh fruits and vegetables throughout the states of New York,New Jersey and Connecticut.

Wild Planet Toys was already using Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) for one of its biggest trading partners. However, when other major clients demanded automated systems with their own Value Added Networks (VAN) and specific transaction requirements, Wild Planet went looking for an experienced integration provider.

Kassatex has enjoyed success and strong growth since its founding in 1999 and its name continues to grow in popularity. In 2002, the company became EDI compliant to supply several major retailers. Realizing that they could streamline their EDI process by integrating it with their back-end Everest accounting system, Kassatex decided to implement an eBridge Integration Solution.

Ergodyne has enjoyed tremendous success since its founding in 1983, and today millions of workers don and use their products every day. In 2000, the company implemented EDI to comply with the demands of its top trading partner. As a successful company, Ergodyne subsequently saw the advantages of integrating their EDI process with their back-end Exact Macola software. For this integral piece, Ergodyne decided on the eBridge Integration Solution.

Ideavillage deals with over 19 trading partners, including large retail chains such as Wal-Mart, Kmart, and Target. The company processes hundreds of sales orders, advanced shipping notices (ASNs) and invoices on a monthly basis. To manually enter data for these files requires time and resources and also leads to human error. Additionally, ASNs are time-sensitive and data-intensive documents: each ASN contains a barcode that, from a data entry perspective, requires a huge amount of data to be entered. Inaccurate ASNs result in poor customer relations and a chargeback by the retailer to the supplier.

Formed in 1991, Fortune Fashions originally marketed to the entertainment and tourist industry before breaking into the retail market. Selling to the retail industry, of course, means transacting via EDI. Originally required to become EDI-compliant, Fortune Fashions appreciated the benefits of EDI with no paper and faster order-payment-cycles. In 2006, Fortune Fashions installed the Microsoft Dynamics AX system for their ERP needs, and as part of that implementation the eBridge Integration Solution was installed.

Due to rapid growth in the number of EDI customers, the Bead Shop recognized that implementing an integration solution with their back-end accounting system was needed to eliminate excessive data entry. The challenge was to also find a solution that was compatible with their accounting system: Open Systems Traverse. In 2004, as the result of its latest growth spurt, York Chicken realized that it needed to streamline its EDI process to save time and money. At that time each invoice York Chicken needed to send out was being inputted by hand, which was time consuming, costly and tedious for the employees. York Chicken inquired with some vendors and clients regarding an integration solution and eBRIDGE SOFTWARE was referred to them.

The eBridge solution seamlessly imports orders to and exports invoices from QuickBooks Pro, eliminating manual data entry. Previously, invoices were being done twice—first through the EDI department and then through the accounting. QuickBooks contains "pending invoices" data, which is equivalent to orders. The eBridge solution enables users to change the invoice status from pending to active, essentially converting the pending invoice into an order. This streamlines the order creation process into a simple click.

Puresource services its health food retailers through three distribution centers in Canada: Calgary, Montreal and Guelph. Becoming EDI compliant in 2002 in order to do business with major retailers, Puresource recognized the advantages of integrating their EDI system to their back-end BusinessVision accounting application and therefore decided on an eBridge integration solution. By implementing the eBridge integration solution, Puresource streamlined the EDI process by eliminating manual data entry and accompanying errors, while also speeding up accounts receivable payments.

Becoming EDI compliant in 2004, F&M Hat recognized the advantages of implementing an eBridge integration solution to their MAS 200 Accounting System. With the eBridge Integration Solution, data from inbound orders is automatically inputted into MAS 200, eliminating manual data entry and inevitable errors that occur with a manual process. The original and accurate data is then used to produce outbound documents such as Invoices, ASNs and UCC 128 labels. With accurate information, trading partner chargebacks are eliminated.

During the high season, Affy Tapple receives thousands of store destination quantity (SDQ) orders a day. Prior to implementing the eBridge solution, Affy Tapple would require an operator to manually key in orders for about eight to 10 hours a day. With the eBridge integration solution in place, the need for manually keying in orders is eliminated, along with potential data entry errors. It now takes only five minutes to enter a day's worth of customer orders, allowing Affy Tapple to go into immediate production.

In 1999, Select Food Products implemented EDI to comply with trading partner requirements. As part of EDI implementation, the company was also looking for an integration solution for their back-end accounting software that would allow invoices to be automatically created and exported for EDI transmission.

eBridge was chosen as that integration solution. With the eBridge solution, data from EDI documents sent by trading partners such as National Grocers, Sobeys, and Wal-Mart, is automatically imported into Select Food Product’s Sage PFW accounting software.

With Billy Bee growing to a worldwide exporter status with over 30 countries they process hundreds of invoices, PO's and ASN's a month to and from their trading partners. Naturally, Billy Bee wanted to utilize Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) to automate the Invoice and Purchase Order Process and incorporate Automated Shipping Notification (ASN) to and from their major market grocery trading partners. They also required a solution that would integrate their electronic documents directly into their Sage Pro accounting system.
